Department of Zoology

The Department of Zoology of D.P. Vipra College is one of the leading departments in the field of biological sciences in the region. The department was established at the Undergraduate (UG) level in 1991 and later expanded to the Postgraduate (PG) level in 1996. Since its establishment, the department has been dedicated to providing quality education, practical training, and research opportunities in Zoology.

The department is recognized for its academic excellence and consistently secures a place in the university merit list through outstanding student performance. It is the only college in the region offering specialized M.Sc. courses in Cytology and Fisheries Science, which makes it unique and academically distinguished.
