Department of Physics

The Department of Physics is one of the premier science departments of the college. It was established at the Undergraduate (U.G.) level in 1991 and at the Postgraduate (P.G.) level in 2001. The department offers academic facilities for both U.G. and P.G. students, providing comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge of Physics.

Student academic growth is encouraged through facilities such as laboratories, library resources with books by Indian and foreign authors, ICT tools, and Wi-Fi. The department aims to cultivate scientific temperament, research aptitude, and innovative thinking among students. Various academic activities, projects, and research-based assignments are conducted periodically to guide students toward higher education and competitive examinations.
