Department of Biotechnology

The Biotechnology Department of D.P. Vipra College was established in 2008–09 and has steadily advanced in higher education and research.
Initially offering only a B.Sc. program, the department has introduced an M.Sc. program from the current academic session.

It features well-equipped laboratories, experienced faculty, practical training, and industrial visits to enhance students’ scientific skills. With a library of 120 biotechnology books, the department’s students regularly secure top positions in university merit lists.
