About NCC

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Unit of D.P. Vipra College plays a vital role in shaping students into disciplined, responsible, and patriotic citizens. NCC provides a unique platform for young students to develop leadership qualities, self-confidence, character, comradeship, and a spirit of national service.

The NCC unit actively participates in various training programmes, camps, social service activities, and community development initiatives. Cadets receive basic military training, drill and parade instruction, weapon training, map reading, disaster management training, and adventure activities that enhance their physical and mental capabilities.
The primary objective of NCC is to develop qualities of leadership, discipline, secular outlook, spirit of adventure, and ideals of selfless service among the youth. Through participation in NCC activities, cadets are motivated to contribute positively to society and the nation.
NCC cadets of D.P. Vipra College regularly participate in Combined Annual Training Camps (CATC), Republic Day Camp (RDC) selections, Thal Sainik Camp (TSC), National Integration Camps (NIC), Adventure Camps, Blood Donation Camps, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Tree Plantation Drives, Disaster Management Programmes, and various awareness campaigns.
The NCC unit also encourages cadets to participate in community service activities, environmental conservation programmes, health awareness campaigns, and national celebrations such as Independence Day, Republic Day, Constitution Day, and National Unity Day.
Through its diverse activities and training programmes, the NCC Unit of D.P. Vipra College strives to create a generation of young leaders who are physically fit, socially responsible, and committed to the service of the nation.
