About NSS

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, aimed at encouraging students to actively participate in community service and social development.

The NSS was launched in 1969, and its journey in Bilaspur began with D.P. Vipra College, which played a significant role in promoting the spirit of youth service and nation-building. Our college NSS unit has been instrumental in organizing numerous projects and activities that have created a lasting impact on both the community and the students involved, fostering leadership, social responsibility, and a sense of civic duty among volunteers.
